Where’d the metal ridged bowl go (the part where the cut side of the fruit goes)? And why did it go away? I would have bought a backup lemon one if I’d known that replacements would have all plastic bowls. I’ve been waiting for the orange sized one for ages, but I was taken aback when I saw it in the shop. Does the metal make it too heavy for some users?

You are right about the Orange Juicer, retaining the stainless steel bowl would have made it just too heavy for shipping, for users etc. In order for us to keep our costs consistent on all the juicers the stainless steel bowl, unnecessary for the utility of the tool, changed to plastic. We apologize for the inconvenience, but invite you to try the new Orange Juicer anyway, we’re sure you’ll love it!
